Capital Project Fund
Date: June 8, 2020

As required by law, a balanced budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2020-21 is submitted to the Mayor and Council for consideration. The uncertainties of how the Coronavirus will impact the local, regional, and state economies have made it challenging to project future revenues.

A part of the cost drivers for the Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2020 to 2021 for the city of Eloy is Dustbowl Implementation Project. This was estimated to cost $100,000. While the total Capital Project Funds budget was $1,758,000. The mission of the Capital Projects Funds is to provide funding to improve, enhance and purchase new equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure to the City.  The funding for this comes from a one-time construction sales tax.
